Visiting the website
The website is provided through OpenAI Sites using Cloudflare infrastructure. When you visit, technical connection data, in particular your IP address and information about the requested page, is transmitted to the infrastructure involved. This processing enables the website to be delivered and operated securely.
Information about the providers’ data processing is available in OpenAI’s European privacy notice and Cloudflare’s privacy notice. Providers may also process data outside the European Union. See their linked information for further details.
Project enquiries and email
Sending an enquiry
When you submit a contact form, the information you provide is sent over an encrypted connection to FormSubmit and forwarded from there to formraumstudio@gmail.com. You do not need to open an email application. Technical connection data is also generated when the form is sent.
Enquiry form details
The English website and design enquiry form requires your name, email address and project description. Project type, company, phone number, budget and the one-time concept preview request are optional. For enquiries about an existing website, an optional website address field is available for “Website / web design”, “Website Start”, “Landingpage Sprint”, “Redesign Compact”, “Mobile check” and “Visual WordPress update”, as well as when no project type is selected or you choose “Not sure yet — I would like to discuss it”. The address is sent only if you enter it. There is no separate AI form in English: AI enquiries use the same optional project-type selector and project-description field. The English form does not collect a separate AI service selection, output type or number of examples. The German AI enquiry form also transmits your required confirmation about the content permitted in the description field and the synthetic or fully redacted examples intended for a later review. Any later AI review is limited to synthetic or fully redacted examples; scope and the transfer method are agreed before a project begins.
Technical enquiry data
When submitting an enquiry using JavaScript, the following additional attribution details are sent: the page address without URL parameters or fragments and, when present, standard campaign details for source, medium and campaign. These campaign values are limited to a set format and a maximum of 80 characters. If your browser provides the previously visited website, only its origin is passed on; URL parameters and fragments are not included. This also generates an enquiry reference that is sent with the submission attempt. It is used in responses and to clarify whether the enquiry arrived. This does not create persistent analytics or profiling.
Form service and storage
FormSubmit states that incoming form enquiries are stored for 30 days. Its linked provider information does not state a specific processing location. Further information is available in FormSubmit’s privacy notice and its request-storage documentation. Please do not send sample outputs, especially sensitive data or confidential content through any form.
Use of your enquiry
Your enquiry and contact details are used to respond and coordinate. For a specific enquiry about services, processing is based on taking pre-contractual steps under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other messages are handled on the basis of the legitimate interest in responding to your contact under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Email and retention
Incoming email is received through Gmail. Information about this service is available in Google’s privacy notice. If an enquiry does not lead to a project, I delete the email and its contact details no later than six months after the last contact. If we work together, the applicable statutory retention periods apply to contract records.
Cookies, analytics and embedded content
The website code does not set cookies or use local storage, advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Graphics and styles are served with the website, and system fonts are used. The website does not embed external videos, maps or social media widgets. Any technical processing by the hosting platform depends on its actual configuration.
Your rights
Where the statutory requirements are met, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it with effect for the future. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
For questions or to exercise your rights, contact formraumstudio@gmail.com. Further information is available from the European Commission.
